We feature club-wide social and / or educational events every month. Our educational events have featured noted speakers on child behaviour, hygiene, choosing a preschool, or another topic related to motherhood and families.

Our social events include  "Mom's Night Out" gatherings, pool parties or ice cream socials for the whole family, seasonal or holiday celebrations, and more. After the holidays, we also host a very popular "Spa Night" each year, where attendees are able to sample FREE massage, aesthetics, and related services from local businesses. 

Most of the evening events provide childwatch (with advance reservation) for a nominal fee. And, all the details for each event are advertised in advance in our members-only newsletter!

One of the reasons new moms join Mother's Clubs is for the playgroups. Join a playgroup with children the same age(s) as your little one(s).

Playgroups are a great opportunity for you and your child(ren) to socialize with peers. And, they can be a good way to experience all the fun kids activities Marin and SRMC have to offer with other moms.

Playgroups meet at member's homes,neighborhood parks, the Bay Model, The Discovery Museum, Mrs. Grossman's Sticker Factory, Shopping Malls, Petaluma Outlets, Zoos, Train Town and a multitude of various places.

Contact the Playgroup Coordinator when you join SRMC to find the playgroup that is right for you!

Each mini-club has regular gatherings based on their own special interests. Mini-clubs are open to all members.

The active mini-clubs include a Book Club, Hiking Club, Supper Club, Career Moms Club,  Single Parent Club, Scrapbooking Club, International Moms, Moms over 35, Golf, and a Vegetarian Club.  

Want something else? Any member is welcome to start a new mini-club and advertise meetings and events in the newsletter.

If you asked most any mother if she would like free babysitting by a highly qualified babysitter - the answer would be a definite "YES"! We could all use some time away from our little angels every now and then. But who wants to pay a babysitter just so we can run errands or go to the dentist? The babysitting co-op is a way for moms to trade babysitting using a voucher system. Details are explained in the Babysitting Co-op Charter. It's easy and free for members of the San Rafael Mother's Club to join the co-op -- just fill out the New Member Form. Instructions are on the form. Current members, please be sure to complete the Emergency Medical Release Form

Designed to provide a helping hand when needed, "In-A-Pinch" is a service where mothers help other mothers. Give a call when you need a hot meal delivered or a friend to watch your kids while you run a quick errand.

This club service is very useful for moms with newborns. Enjoy the rewards of returning the favor when you can.

What could be more enjoyable than sharing a nice, hot cup of coffee with a houseful of moms and kids? Coffee Mornings are come-one-come-all events, hosted by SRMC members, designed for mixing, mingling, and just hanging out. Attending a coffee morning is a great way to try the SRMC on for size.

Not a coffee drinker? Not a morning person? Then an Afternoon Tea might be just for you! Also hosted by SRMC members, and also open to moms, dads, and children of all ages.
